Credit Progress Campaign and Parent Notification

Every other Monday, parents receive a Blue, Yellow, or Red credit progress update from each teacher. These updates are designed to strengthen our partnership with families by keeping everyone informed about student work progress in each class.

🔵 Tier 1 Blue: Is on track for success, pacing toward the goal of 2 credits earned over 4 weeks in each class.

🟡 Tier 2 Yellow: Intervention Support(s): Is making partial progress, currently pacing towards 1 credit during this 4-week check in a class (goal = 2 credits).

🔴 Tier 3 Red: Intensive Re-Engagement: Is not making progress in their class, pacing towards 0 credits earned during this 4 week check (goal = 2 credits).

Testing

CAASPP Testing: The California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) is a statewide testing system that measures student achievement in English language arts, mathematics, and science. Its purpose is to evaluate how well students are meeting California’s academic standards and to inform instruction and school accountability.

ELPAC Testing: The English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) is used to assess the English language skills of students whose primary language is not English. The test helps identify English learners and measures their progress in learning English to ensure they receive the appropriate support.

PSAT Testing: The Preliminary SAT (PSAT) is a standardized test that prepares students for the SAT and provides insight into college readiness. It also serves as the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship Program, giving students opportunities for academic recognition and scholarships.

		Personal Finance Course

220 credits + the Personal Finance Course needed for graduation from Independence High School. Students must earn a C or better in all A-G classes.
180 credits + the Personal Finance Course needed for graduation from Adelante High School.

The RJUHSD Early Middle College Program at the Roseville Pathways campuses offers a unique and flexible educational pathway that allows students to begin earning college credits while still enrolled in high school. This partnership between students, their families, and staff from both the Pathways Middle College Program and Sierra College provides a supportive environment for academic success. RJUSHD CTE Internships

The Roseville Joint Union High School District helps all students get ready for college and careers. The Career Technical Education (CTE) Internship Program gives students a chance to explore different jobs and learn important skills needed for today’s workplaces. This internship is a hands-on work experience that builds on what students learn in their CTE classes. Students who complete two or more years in a CTE program can apply for an internship.
